Description and Use

This lectern is very mobile, making it ideal for transport and use in various locations for readings and presentations. It's light enough for one person to move, though it might require some effort. A restraining bar at the base of the top surface prevents items from sliding off. This bar is intentionally low, ensuring your wrists have freedom of movement and aren't uncomfortable.

With this model, you have the option to replace the top surface with one designed to accommodate microphones.

Why We Recommend More Expensive Plywood Over Particle Board

Lecterns made from particle board are not waterproof. If stored in a damp or unheated room (like a warehouse, hall, or basement), the board will swell upon contact with water, and the edges will delaminate over time.

A particle board lectern is not well-suited for outdoor use. Even a brief shower can cause damage.

Particle board lecterns are less stable, mechanically weaker, and more prone to swaying and warping. This often leads to faster wear and tear.

For these reasons, we recommend lecterns made from waterproof plywood. While more expensive, they offer many benefits worth the extra cost, including water resistance, greater stability, better mechanical durability, and a modern design.
